Talavera Homes for Sale

Living in Moore, OK

Talavera is a great community in Moore, Oklahoma! It’s super close to 19th Street Shopping District, I-35, North Norman, and Oklahoma City. It’s only about a mile to the onramp of I-35, so if you’re commuting to Oklahoma City or to Norman, you’ll be able to get on the interstate quickly. Talavera is located at Southwest 34th and Santa Fe in Moore. And actually, in Norman, Santa Fe is called 48th Ave NW and in Oklahoma City, Southwest 34th St is called Southwest 164th, so that might be confusing if you didn’t know.

Other neighborhoods that are nearby include: South Winds, West Moore, Oak Ridge, Sindera Lakes, Glen Ridge, Park Glen, Blue Stem Ridge, and Stone Meadow South – all in different price ranges.

Talavera was first established in 2004, when the first section was built, so there are homes that are over a decade old and then they are still building in this neighborhood as well. That means there are a lot of different home styles.

Things to do around the Community

Parks, Shops & More

As mentioned before, you’ll have great access to the shops at 19th Street. Walmart, Target, Warren Theater, Winco (grocery store), home goods stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot and plenty of restaurants & coffee shops. Some of our favorites are Crumbl Cookies, All About Cha, and of course, Chick-fil-A.

The City of Moore also has over 300 acres of parks grounds with different amenities and pavillions for any occasion you’re celebrating. Many of the parks have walking trails and there are even some great parks for your furry friends!

Oklahoma City is about 30 minutes north of Talavera, depending on where you’re headed, specifically. Downtown OKC, otherwise known as Bricktown, has lots of nightlife, water taxi tours on the canal, and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. You can attend an OKC Thunder game, visit the beautiful Myriad Botanical Gardens, or enjoy an outdoor event at Scissortail Park.
