One of the easiest ways to search for homes for sale in Oklahoma!
Have you been having trouble searching for homes for sale and get tired of outdated information from other home search resources? I want to share with you how to set your expectations for your new home and how to effectively search for it. The good news is we have an app for that! Here are five things I want you to take into consideration as you’re searching for a home.
- How far do you want to drive bike or walk to work or wherever you need to go? This is a big deal, right? We don’t want to spend half of our lives in cars and commuting to work, so in the app here I can put in my work address or any other address that I want to see how many minutes it is by car, walking, or on my bike.
- How much is it gonna cost? So if you’re seriously considering purchasing a home, please, please speak with a lender. And if you’re paying cash that’s great too! So for each house in this app, we can easily see an estimated down payment and we can even change that down payment on the app. And we can do an easily estimated interest rate, and see what your mortgage insurance payment might be in this estimate, if you have one.
- What do you do for fun? I would say for most of us, that’s important to live around the things that we like to do. Whether that’s restaurants, like music, hiking, walking, shopping, whatever. So here in the app, I can see what sorts of activities are present in the neighborhoods that I’m looking in.
- How much do you want to pay? So price is extremely important. Price is not the type of loan, interest rate, etc. And price is typically where we start. Of course, there’s other things that go into affordability of the home. So here at the top, we can set the price, how big we want the house to be, how many bedrooms, etc. And by setting these parameters here, we can see how many of those homes are available in any given area. So once we set all of those parameters, you can set up your own search. Setting up your own search is really easy. So now you know where you want to live.
- Now all you need to do is draw a map directly on to the map on the app. You need to set your budget, you need to set how many bedrooms, bathrooms, and the type of home. And then you want to hit “save” on the right side of your screen, and there you have your search.
